Free Guide on 2018 Medicare Costs Available From the Medicare Rights Center

The Medicare Rights Center has developed 2018 Medicare Costs, a free guide that provides information on what people with Medicare can expect to pay for this year's Medicare premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance for Medicare Parts A, B, and D and Medicare Advantage plans.

The Medicare Rights Center, a national nonprofit consumer service organization, is the largest and most reliable independent source of Medicare information and assistance in the United States.

"Medicare costs can change each year so it's best to know what you—or your clients—can expect to pay before the bill arrives," says Joe Baker, president of the Medicare Rights Center. "Medicare Rights' guide has all of the Medicare costs for 2018 in one place—from hospital deductibles to when the coverage gap for Part D-covered prescription drugs known as the 'donut hole' begins."

The guide, 2018 Medicare Costs, can be downloaded at no charge through Medicare Interactive, Medicare Rights' free online resource that provides hundreds of answers to Medicare questions.

For Licensed Master Social Workers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers who want to learn more about Medicare while earning continuing education hours, Medicare Rights has developed Medicare Interactive (MI) Pro, an online curriculum that makes it easy to become "Medicare Smart." MI Pro has been approved in most states for social work continuing education hours.
