Cúram Software Announces Innovative iPhone Application for Child Welfare Investigators

Cúram Software, the leading provider of social enterprise management software solutions, announced the new Cúram for Child Welfare iPhone Application. This application provides child welfare caseworkers mobile access to real-time information in the field so they can more efficiently identify clients in the area, prioritize those clients most in need of a visit, initiate case interviews, and process emergency placements.

The application enables investigators to perform real-time searches and updates to cases. Caseworkers can identify and locate clients and providers closest to their current location and utilize a new method of documentation via a mobile application, eliminating the need to return to the office for data entry. Further, this new application assists the investigation process by presenting clients in a map or list view grouped by due dates and allowing a drill down for further detail. It also identifies emergency caregivers in the vicinity of the caseworker. Investigators are able to record the participants, purpose, time, date, and location of the meeting and capture a voice note, picture, or video. Investigators can submit completed logs through the iPhone app, and they can immediately be viewed by all required stakeholders in the system. The Cúram for Child Welfare iPhone app will be available through Apple’s iTunes store.
