Grand Challenges for Social Work Doctoral Award Call for Applications
Funded by the New York Community Trust
The Grand Challenges for Social Work is seeking social work doctoral students who want to go Go•Grander by expanding their research capabilities, developing leadership skills, and advancing solutions to society's biggest challenges.
To that end, we are pleased to announce the call for applications for the second Doctoral Awards cohort. These awards are a key component of the Grand Challenges for Social Work’s efforts to Go•Grander and are generously funded by the New York Community Trust.
Awards of $3,000 are available to support dissertation or capstone expenses of social work doctoral students whose work addresses at least one of the Grand Challenges. Doctoral award proposals should clarify how the study will have an impact that boosts practice, program, or policy change. One award will be made for each of the 13 Grand Challenges.
Applications are due October 20, 2023, by 8 pm ET.
